I consider leadership to be my mission and calling. The impact one leader can hve on dozens, hundreds or even thousands of lives is incredible! And humbling . . . as a leader, what is the impact you are having on your sphere of influence? The people in your sphere matter to me. They deserve great leadership. YOU matter to me. You deserve the investment in your growth and development.
I believe deeply in transforming the status quo. I am a Change Agent and I apply that talent to every aspect of my life. I was a single Mom at age 19 and learned how to not just survive, but thrive as a Mom and eventually as a small business owner. When I found faith in my early 30’s, it completely transformed my life again by refining my character and bringing me peace, joy, and stability. When I met my husband in my late 30’s, we decided to transform our lives again by expanding our family. And over the last few years, I have been on a serious journey to become healthy in mind, body, and spirit. Starting ALIGN is just a continuation of my talent for transformation and a culmination of my passion for leadership and my genuine love for businesses.
AND none of the transformations has happened alone–I have had help or a guide at every turn. Great coaching has significantly transformed my life. Through coaching, I’ve learned that transformation that sticks, sustains, and has real impact happens through ALIGNment. When we ALIGN leadership with goals; when we ALIGN actions with our values; when we ALIGN our people and process with our vision; when we ALIGN our investment of time and resources with our talent . . . that is when true change can happen for leaders, for teams, for organizations. When we ALIGN our values with our talents and actions, we will absolutely transform beyond the status quo into who we were designed to be.
Did you know that in all of the research Gallup has done on strengths, there is no specific profile or grouping of talents that predict leadership success? Everyone has the capacity to lead well but is up to each person to care enough to invest in their own development. I would LOVE to partner with you on that journey.
P.S. If you’re thinking this pic of me looks like it should be on the cover of a music album, I agree . . . too bad I can’t sing 🙂
